Patient Care Assistance
Armenian healthcare has made tremendous strides in public and private health insurance in the decades since independence. However, there remain significant cost barriers for ordinary Armenians, especially those associated with medical devices. We provide financial assistance to patients in order to improve access to care.
Implantable Devices and Equipment
Modern cardiology and cardiac surgery require implantable devices and specialized equipment, the costs of which can be prohibitive for healthcare facilities in a middle income country such as Armenia. We work with industry partners to acquire and ship these necessary goods to hospitals in Armenia.
Research and Education Funding
Seed funding and grants for medical research in Armenia are extremely limited. Institutional support for seminars, conferences, and externships are similarly restricted. We offer a fellowship for either seed funding for small-scale research projects or educational opportunities that have the potential to impact cardiac care in Armenia
